"You have to come up into the hills to find me.

And perhaps that's exactly the point.

I sit high above the countryside near Monóvar, surrounded by vineyards, almond groves and mountains. There are no houses crowding around me and no buildings interrupting my view.

Just 18,500 m² of private land and mountains in every direction.

A full 360 degrees of them.

Inside, I am spacious, contemporary and comfortable, with four generous bedrooms and four bathrooms. Air conditioning keeps summer days cool, while central heating and a pellet stove make me every bit as welcoming during the Spanish winter.

At my heart is a beautiful German-designed kitchen, fitted with premium integrated appliances and made for much more than simply cooking.

Because I am a house that likes company.

Outside, my saltwater swimming pool overlooks the valley. There are generous terraces for long lunches in the sunshine, a fully equipped bar and barbecue area, an entertainment room and even a pétanque court.

Everything is here.

So when friends arrive for lunch, don't be surprised if they're still here when the sun disappears behind the mountains.

But for all my comforts, I haven't forgotten where I live.

The landscape around me matters.

That's why I use solar energy with battery storage and solar hot water, complemented by a substantial 30,000-litre water reserve. High-speed internet keeps you connected when you want to be.

The rest of the time?

You can simply switch off.

My entrance is gated, my grounds are fully fenced and my access road is completely tarmacked. I also have an alarm system and security cameras.

Private doesn't have to mean impractical.

And secluded doesn't have to mean remote.

Monóvar is only ten minutes away. Pinoso around fifteen. Alicante Airport and the Mediterranean coast are both within easy reach.

Yet when you come home and the electric gate closes behind you, the world suddenly feels very far away.

Morning here begins with mountains.

Afternoons belong beside the pool.
