Let Me Tell You My Story...

"I was made for people who come to Spain for more than just a house.

Come through my gate and you will quickly understand why. I face south, so sunshine is rather difficult to avoid here. It dances across my terrace, warms the garden and sparkles on the water of my private pool. My garden is mature but deliberately easy-going — beautiful enough to enjoy, without asking you to spend every weekend working in it.

At the back of the pool, I have one of my favourite little secrets: my sunroom. Open it up on a warm day, gather everyone around the table, listen to the birds and let lunch quietly turn into dinner. Nobody is watching the clock here.

Step inside and I become surprisingly spacious. My living room is bright, comfortable and contemporary, but when winter brings one of those rare cooler evenings, my pellet burner makes everything instantly cosy.

And then there is my kitchen. I don't believe kitchens should be tucked away as an afterthought, so mine is wonderfully generous, fully equipped and ready for long breakfasts, big paellas and evenings when everyone somehow ends up standing around the kitchen talking.

I even have a double bedroom and bathroom downstairs, making everyday living easy and giving guests their own comfortable space.

Upstairs, the light follows you. Large windows brighten the staircase and lead towards my bedrooms. My master bedroom has plenty of wardrobe space, but its real treat waits outside: a private terrace with its own gazebo. Morning coffee in the sunshine? A book in the shade? A glass of wine as the day cools down? You decide.

The second upstairs bedroom doesn't have to settle for being the “small bedroom” either. There is plenty of room for a king-size bed, while a modern bathroom with walk-in shower completes this floor.

And although I enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle, I am rather modern underneath it all. Air conditioning runs throughout my home and solar panels provide power for the entire property — even my swimming pool.

Perhaps best of all, I don't make you choose between peaceful Spanish living and convenience.

From here, you can simply walk into Sucina for shops, restaurants, bars and everyday necessities. And whenever you feel like exploring, the beaches of the Mar Menor, the city of Murcia and historic Cartagena are all within easy reach.

I am already finished, comfortable and ready to live in.
